Meg and Phil welcomed their sweet baby boy, Walter William, into the world and they could not be more in love with him. After taking their engagement photos, their excitement for meeting their newest little bundle of joy was like no other. I knew they would be the most loving and caring parents, and I got to see just that! They invited me into their beautiful home when Walter was just a couple weeks old and I am so excited to share these photos from their Minneapolis Newborn Session with you.
I started this Minneapolis newborn session out by taking photos of Walter and his sweet, tiny details (just look at his little fingers and eyelashes!) and then took photos of Walter with mama and dada separately, and then of course all together. They also decided to have their adorable golden doodle, Paisley, in some photos in which it wouldn’t be a true family photo without her!
Along with Walter’s freshly decorated nursery, I love how Meg and Phil snuck a couple other meaningful details into the session. Phil’s mom made a quilt for Walter that we used, and it’s beyond precious, and his personalized name sign above the crib was also hand-made by one of their friends. We also can’t forget that at the end of the session, we laid Walter down on World Cup flag to show his daddy’s love for the sport. The day was filled with snuggles, kisses, and joy, and it warms my heart knowing they’ll have these photos forever to look back on since they only stay little for so long!
